§ 10-110. Information required to be on file and on registration card

  • (a) The registration book on file kept by the recorder and the registration cards shall show for each solicitor his name, age, weight, color of hair, color of eyes and other distinguishing marks or indications; home address with street, number, county, state and country; full local address of solicitor; articles or services or subscriptions to be offered the public, with the true, correct, and full address of each firm or concern represented by the applicant for registration. The authentic signature of the applicant shall appear on the registration card.

    (b) The applicant for registration shall also file with the recorder a photograph or picture of himself taken recently so as to identify fully such applicant. Such picture or photograph shall show at least the head and shoulders of the applicant in a clear and distinguishing manner.

    (c) The recorder may require such other reasonable information as to the identity of the applicant, and the character of his business and method or plan of solicitation, as is proper to fulfill the purposes of this article in the protection of the public against fraud and dangers. The recorder may require the applicant to give registration data under oath.
